BOSTON – The Brown campaign today released the second edition of the Scott Brown Radio Report, entitled “Patriots.” The statewide radio ad will run in the week leading up the New England Patriots-New York Giants Super Bowl rematch on Sunday.
This 60-second advertisement is part of a series of “Radio Reports” to be released by Brown during the course of the campaign. A transcript of the ad is included below.

Script For Scott Brown Radio Report: “Patriots (Radio:60)
ANNOUNCER: “Here’s Scott Brown, with a Scott Brown Radio Report.”
U.S. SENATOR SCOTT BROWN: “Hello, this is United States Senator Scott Brown. Massachusetts loves its sports teams. I grew up idolizing guys like Bill Russell, Bobby Orr and Yaz. Remember when Havlicek stole the ball?”
ANNOUNCER: “Havlicek steals it. Over to Sam Jones. Havlicek stole the ball!”
BROWN: “And I’ll never forget Carlton Fisk and Game Six.”
ANNOUNCER: “The 1-0 delivery to Fisk. He swings, long drive, if it stays fair it’s gone . . . Home run! The Red Sox win!”
BROWN: “Now the Patriots are headed for the Super Bowl again. Think of it, in the last 10 years, Boston has won seven major sports championships.
