ANNOUNCER: “Here’s Scott Brown, with a Scott Brown Radio Report.”

U.S. SENATOR SCOTT BROWN: “Hello, this is United States Senator Scott Brown. Massachusetts loves its sports teams. I grew up idolizing guys like Bill Russell, Bobby Orr and Yaz. Remember when Havlicek stole the ball?”

ANNOUNCER: “Havlicek steals it. Over to Sam Jones. Havlicek stole the ball!”

BROWN: “And I’ll never forget Carlton Fisk and Game Six.”

ANNOUNCER: “The 1-0 delivery to Fisk. He swings, long drive, if it stays fair it’s gone . . . Home run! The Red Sox win!”

BROWN: “Now the Patriots are headed for the Super Bowl again. Think of it, in the last 10 years, Boston has won seven major sports championships. This has meant more to us than simple bragging rights. Sports brings us together as a community and lifts us up. So, to the Patriots and the Kraft family, I say, ‘Thank you.’ Win or lose, they have given us another great season and made champions of us all. Go Pats!”

ANNOUNCER: “That was Scott Brown, with a Scott Brown Radio Report.”
