As a member of the Boston Celtics, I’ve seen some pretty good basketball shots. This one from my friend Scott Brown ranks right up there!
We’re all familiar with Scott’s story, the hardships he faced growing up, and how basketball rescued him by introducing him to coaches and mentors who helped him overcome some of the obstacles life placed in his path.
He talks about that inspiring personal story to groups of young people as a way to encourage them to believe in themselves.
Scott’s made some pretty big plays in his life, both on and off the court. On Friday, in front of a group of excited kids at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center, Scott made another big shot: draining a half court bomb.
