Two Most Bipartisan Senators Appear Together In South Boston
BOSTON - Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins endorsed Scott Brown:
“I am proud to be in Massachusetts today endorsing Scott Brown for re-election,” said Collins. “Scott and I have worked together on many issues affecting both our states, and I appreciate the independent spirit he brings to each issue. Whether it’s been voting to pass the financial reform bill, ending the unfair discriminatory practice of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell or working to pass the bipartisan STOCK Act, Scott has a proven record of working across the aisle and getting results. Scott Brown is a refreshing antidote to the polarization that is poisoning Washington.”
A recent voting analysis from Congressional Quarterly shows that Collins and Brown are the first and second most bipartisan senators in the upper chamber, respectively.
Brown appeared with Collins at his campaign headquarters in South Boston.
