Senator Scott Brown has picked up the endorsement of two Gloucester politicos.
Former state Representative Anthony Verga, a Democrat, announced his backing of the Republican senator during a joint appearance on Saturday at the Lobsta Land restaurant.
City Councilor Sefatia Romeo Theken, who is not enrolled in either major political party, also declared she was supporting Brown.
He is seeking his first full, six-year Senate term, but is being challenged by Democrat Elizabeth Warren.
