BOSTON - Today, Jim Barnett, campaign manager for Scott Brown, issued the following statement on the Boston Herald debate:
“Scott Brown accepts the Boston Herald/UMASS Lowell debate invitation, concluding the debate schedule for the 2012 campaign. Senator Brown has now committed to six debates, including the two radio debates Professor Warren has refused to accept. By Election Day, Senator Brown will have participated in six debates – the most of any incumbent Massachusetts Senator in 16 years. Since the 2010 special election campaign, he will have participated in 11 debates. We look forward to discussing the very real differences between Senator Brown, who has a proven record of being an independent fighter for jobs, and Professor Warren, whose extremely liberal tax and spend agenda would kill jobs and hurt our struggling economy.”
