BOSTON - This morning at an event hosted by the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE), Senator Brown was asked about the important issues in the Massachusetts Senate race. After discussing his pro-jobs legislative record, Brown pointed out that Elizabeth Warren supports “higher taxes and more spending,” and labeled the Harvard Professor a “jobs destroyer.”

SENATOR BROWN: “Well the issues are very clear, it is one of the reasons I’m here, is to talk about taxes and spending and jobs, and where we go as a state and a country. As you know, I have been working on the things that matter. The crowd-funding bill that recently passed creates up to a million dollars of financing for folks who want to create new businesses, with minimal SEC involvement in that. We are looking at the 3% withholding, the Hire a Hero of veterans. It’s really about jobs and the economy, and that’s where Professor Warren and I differ. She is in favor of higher taxes and more spending. She is a jobs destroyer. I’m someone who is down there trying to create jobs and working on an environment for people to hire and grow.”
