More Views Than Warren’s Living Room Rant Has Recorded In Nearly A Year
BOSTON - Just eight days after its release, Scott Brown’s online ad “Let America Be America Again” today surpassed one million YouTube views.
This number surpasses the number of views Professor Warren’s anti-free enterprise rant has received after nearly a year online. At the time of its release, Warren’s video was heralded as an Internet sensation and shed light on her extreme tax-and-spend views. Warren re-forwarded the video link in a blast email to her supporters this weekend saying she “meant every single word of it” and encouraged them to pass it on.
“Senator Brown’s video resonates because it fundamentally breaks down what is at stake in this race,” said Jim Barnett, campaign manager for Scott Brown. “Senator Brown believes that what made America great is the ingenuity, creativity and hard work of the American people, especially those who took tremendous risks to build businesses and employ people. Professor Warren’s view is starkly different. She believes that it’s the government that creates jobs; her remarks are an insult to those who take risks to build something out of nothing. It’s not just what she says that is so offensive, but how she says it – with disdain, resentment, and contempt for success.”
