U.S. Sen. Scott Brown chatted with residents and ate lunch at Heritage Coffee Shop on Southbridge Street during a campaign stop Tuesday in Auburn.
Brown arrived at around noon and spoke with folks before sitting down for a Coke and cheeseburger. He said Auburn, like every other town and city in Massachusetts, will not go unnoticed when he is in office.
“Sometimes people forget about some of the communities out in this region, but I’m not going to, and that’s why I’m here,” the Republican said.
Brown, who has been campaigning at coffee shops and small businesses around the state, said he’s confident he will defeat Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren in November.
