U.S. Sen. Scott Brown made a campaign stop Tuesday at Uhlman’s Ice Cream Stand in Westborough. The first-term senator, greeted by dozens of supporters who crowded the parking lot, shook hands and posed for photos.
Ann Peters of the Westborough Town Republican Committee said she was glad to finally meet Brown. “I’ve spent a lot of time holding signs for him,” she said.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have him,” said Uhlman’s owner Richard Smith. “And it doesn’t hurt business, especially in this economy.”
