BOSTON - Today, U.S. Senator Scott Brown released the following statement about the July jobs numbers:
“Our economy is at a standstill, and more of the same failed proposals won’t cut it. It’s time to recommit ourselves to the free enterprise system and the ideals that made our country great, and unleash the American people to dream big again. My opponent, Elizabeth Warren, demonizes success and wants to punish our job creators with higher taxes and unfair regulations, while spending another trillion dollars. We tried that approach and it has only left us with more debt and fewer jobs. We need to stop treating our job creators like they are part of the problem. In fact, they are the solution to our problems, not Washington, D.C.”
