Boston Herald: “It has been a breath of fresh air for fiscal conservatives in Massachusetts to have their views represented by one of the state’s two senators. We encourage voters to maintain that balance.” (Editorial, “Brown for Senate,” Boston Herald, 10/24/12)

Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise: ”When he ran two years ago, Scott Brown vowed to be an independent voice in Washington, and he has made good on that promise.” (Editorial, “Scott Brown for U.S. Senate,” The Sentinel & Enterprise, 10/25/12)

Lowell Sun: ”Scott Brown has been an antidote to the toxic political environment in Washington.” (Editorial, “Scott Brown for U.S. Senate,” The Lowell Sun, 10/25/12)

Worcester Telegram & Gazette: ”We deeply admire the Republican for the quality he most often touts himself. He has said it, and shown it, many times since winning 2010′s special election: He thinks for himself. Beholden to no one, he seeks results and welcomes compromise.” (Editorial, “Brown for Senate,” The Worcester Telegram & Gazette, 10/26/12)

The Newburyport Daily News: “Brown has been an effective, bipartisan senator in his short time in office. Let’s send his independent voice back to Washington to serve Massachusetts for a full term.” (Editorial, “Our View: Brown for US Senate,” The Newburyport Daily News, 10/31/12)

Quincy Patriot Ledger: ”Brown’s legislative record is impressive. For a freshman senator elected to only a two-year term, he accomplished far more than we could reasonably expect.” (Editorial, “Our Opinion: Scott Brown for US Senate,” The Patriot Ledger, 10/27/12)

The Gloucester Times: “When it comes to the fishing industry, Brown — who has spent an inordinate amount of time in Gloucester talking to fishermen and other industry leaders — has not only been on the bipartisan front lines fighting with Tierney, Frank and Senate colleague John Kerry in getting both justice and government accountability for rank-and-role fishermen. He’s frankly done them all better.” (Editorial, “Times Endorsement: Sen. Brown a Clear Choice for Return to D.C.” The Gloucester Times, 10/29/12)

Cape Cod Times: “Two-and-a-half years later, we are pleased that Brown the senator is exactly what Brown the candidate pledged he would be: an energetic Massachusetts moderate who votes his beliefs rather than along strict party lines. We therefore support Sen. Brown for re-election and look forward to what he will accomplish with the benefit of a full senate term.” (Editorial, “Brown for Senate,” Cape Cod Times, 10/27/12)

Brockton Enterprise: ”It’s his intrinsic understanding and knowledge of the nuts-and-bolts issues affecting the people of Massachusetts, his proven ability to work collaboratively across party lines, and his commitment to being informed and open to dialogue that we commend to voters.” (Editorial, “Our Opinion: Scott Brown for US Senate,” The Brockton Enterprise, 10/27/12)

The Salem News: “Voters should indeed return Brown to the Senate because of what he has done, and for what he is still striving to do over the next six years.” (Editorial, “Our View: Brown for US Senate,” The Salem News, 10/31,12)

The Lawrence Eagle-Tribune: “On jobs and the economy, the issues that matter most in this election, Brown is consistently correct. Brown opposes higher taxes, arguing that government spends the money it already collects poorly. He recognizes that lower taxes create the environment needs to promote business growth.” (Editorial, “Scott Brown for U.S. Senate,” The Eagle-Tribune. 10/28/12)

The Jewish Press: ”In the race for the Senate in Massachusetts, we endorse Scott Brown (R) for reelection. He is a stalwart supporter of Israel and distinguished himself with regard to the Goldstone Report, calling attention to the deplorable human rights records of Israel’s enemies and urging severe and effective sanctions against Iran.” (Editorial, “Jewish Press Endorsements – November 6 General Election,” The Jewish Press. 11/1/12)

The Daily Free Press: “In times like these, compromise and loyalty to constituents trump politics. For those reasons, Massachusetts needs Brown.” (Editorial, “Massachusetts Needs Brown,” The Daily Free Press. 11/5/12)
